Welcome to altFIRE. This site was originally created by RawShark as a gaming news website. Over the years it has had many revamps and overhauls until it eventually became what you see here today. These days we report a lot about games consoles and PC security issues, reflecting the current interests of the news team (there was a time when all we reported was to do with Quake and Half-Life!).
